My mother passed 3 years ago, just 12 days before 68th wedding anniversary. Father turned 91 on Nov 29. He served 8th Armored Division. He was a boxer and his duty was stateside giving exhibition bouts throughout all the camps in south eastern US. Thanks visit my blog.
Wow – 67.9 years is a very remarkable accomplishment. Fantastic. What an interesting life your Dad must have lived and continue to live. I hope you are recording his history as I am so grateful to have recorded my Dad’s.
This is a wonderful site. My father served and what an honor you are paying to your Dad and all veterans. Thank you for stopping by the Cow Pasture. I’m so glad you enjoyed my post. I look forward to other conversations and feedback from you in the future.
Thank-you for YOUR feed-back. It was a wonderful activity that I shared with my Dad – he was a great story-teller until he “ran out of stories”. He is no longer with me and I miss him dearly – but do enjoy reading the stories we crafted together. Glad we have met.
